CONCESSIONS @ FOOTBALL GAMES
Working in concessions at JV and varsity football games is a fun and fast-paced way to get involved and meet other band parents. Concession sales are a huge source of funding for the band. Parents, grandparents, siblings, and other family members are welcome to help.
JV football games: Arrive at the stadium concession stand at 5:15 PM for a 6 PM kickoff time.
Varsity football games: Arrive at the stadium concession stand at 6:15 PM for a 7 PM kickoff time.
PIT CREW
There’s nothing like being on the field with the students at football games and competitions. And you get in the game or competition free!
Varsity football games: Meet at school at 6 PM and help move equipment and props to the field for the halftime performance. Immediately after halftime, move all of the equipment back to the band room and storage. After tha game, clean up the band section of the stands.
Competitions: Meet at school at the end of the morning rehearsal and load the Regiment trailers. Travel as a group to the competition site. At the competition, unload and help move equipment and props to the field. After the performance, help move everything back to the trailers, travel back to the school, and then unload.
CHAPERONES @ FOOTBALL GAMES & COMPETITIONS
Being a chaperone is a fun and rewarding way to experience band alongside the students. And you get in the game or competition free!
Varsity football games: Meet at school at 6 PM and escort students to the stadium. Carry first aid kits. Sit with the band in the stands and supervise students. Pass out water bottles as needed. After the game, escort students back to the school.
Competitions: RIde the bus to the competition and escort students to practice areas, into the stadium for the performance, and back to the buses. Carry first aid kits. Provide support as needed to students and band staff.
